IMPACTS IN 2021
February we launched the national awareness campaign to push awareness of the Safe Space Security Device and its benefits.
We were picked up by local news stations and soon went viral across Reddit and Facebook. Although the SSSD was not ready for school use, yet, we wanted to tell everyone about our Nonprofit and how the SSSD enhances school safety.
With the successful awareness campaign, we reached out to manufacturers and began the process of finalizing scaled manufacturing.
IMPACTS IN 2020
Working groups were established to incorporate teacher's needs in the classroom into the SSSD.
A professional engineer was contracted to finalize design of the SSSD for student comfort, teacher's wants and ballistic conformity.
GOALS FOR 2022
Finalize the manufacturing process of the SSSD.
Complete durability, structural integrity, safety and ballistics testing of the SSSD.
Get the first applicable schools signed up to receive SSSDs.
Continue fundraising to equip the classrooms or schools with SSSDs.
Possibly work with another organization for grant funding.
